Wayne is a barrister, partner and one of the founding members of Fulcrum Chambers, London where he leads the Sports Law team. Away from law, Wayne has refereed over 90 rugby union test matches.
“My English teacher, Mrs Davies inspired my route into law. She was a magistrate. We also had an impressive rugby team, coached by Ian Wilkins. I made friends for life during the rugby trips”.

Andy Lewis MBE is a multi-winning gold medallist in the triathlon. in 2014 Andy achieved a gold medal at the Madrid ITU World Para-triathlon Event. In 2016 Andy won his first European Championship gold medal at the European Championships, and in the same year he won gold at the 2016 ITU Para-Triathlon World Championship, he then went on to compete at the Paralympics in Rio.
“You get out of life what you put into it. When I was told after my accident that I wouldn’t be able to do certain things I was determined to prove people wrong. I realised that there was no magic wand for me and that it was down to me to change my life… If you believe in yourself you can do great things”.

Jev has performed on West End and internationally, starring in musicals such as Saturday Night Fever, The Sound of Music and Miss Saigon. He is now based in Vienna, Austria where he is also a Movement Director.

“I stand by the decisions I have made in terms of my education and career and I have learnt so much along the way. I don’t regret any of my decisions and although it has been a lot of hard work I am excited to start my new career as a physiotherapist. I haven’t always known what direction I was going in and I have realised that it is okay to not have everything planned out as you know what feels right and what doesn’t”.

After India left the Dean Academy she went on to study A levels in Psychology and Philosophy and a BTEC in Business Studies. India’s interest in business convinced her to go to the University of Worcester to study Business Management where India achieved a 2:1. India now works as a Commercial Assistant at Safran Landing Systems, a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems.

Jordan is working in multiple dental practices providing preventative dental care and periodontal treatment for patients. He is committed to supporting students academically in the Forest of Dean, and he has aspirations for setting up his own practise in the future.

Joseph is committed to academically support students in the Forest of Dean. He has offered to encourage students to go to University and provide advice on how to get a career in sport.

Ellie-May had enough UCAS points to go to University after College, however she elected to join the Police force and undertook her training when she was 18 turning 19 years old.

“I have achieved many things that I am proud of. Some of my top things would have to be: working London fashion week, being featured in Vogue UK, doing a feature with Dazed, and creating an editorial for the clothing brand Jaded London.”
